Hope you’re doing well. We have some exciting news- a new kimchi and we’re in four new stores.
We are now in 4 new stores in the Columbus area. The Hungarian Butcher, Clintonville Natural Foods, David & Mary’s, and Beechwold Farm Market.
Introducing our newest seasonal kimchi - daikon kimchi!!
It’s winter, daikon season, and we sourced the best local daikon grown by Mike and Star Hamilton of Shade River Farm.
Their daikon is exceptionally sweet and crunchy- creating a satisfying texture and balanced flavor- a refreshing sweet, savory, and spicy flavor that daikon kimchi is known for. It’s one of Korea’s most beloved kimchis.
It was my favorite kimchi when I was a little kid. It goes amazingly well with your winter beef stews & braises, noodle soups, and alongside a steaming hot bowl of rice, mashed potatoes or steamed sweet potatoes. I love it chopped up and mixed into stir fry or fried rice. And all types of kimchi goes remarkably well with cheese dishes like mac and cheese, and grilled cheese.
We will not be doing the Athens Farmers Market this winter. But you can very conveniently order our kimchi online: ORDER HERE. We offer free delivery or pickup if you live in Athens!
